More Galifianakis, please.
The new show, Comedians of Comedy (no, not very creative) on Comedy Central was something I was looking forward to. With comedians like Patton Oswalt, Brian Posehn (the slow mail-boy from "Just Shoot Me" who made the show), Maria Bamford, and the uncomparable and treat of a man, Zach Galifianakis. You may remember Galifianakis from Out Cold (think hot tub scene). He alone is worth an entire TV show. But contrary to the shows mildly promising cast, it stinks. It's not funny. It's boring, but yet I still DVR it every week, hoping that it will get better. Last weeks episode consisted of them saying how depressing Atlantic City was and that nothing happened to talk about. Yes, very lame. They also don't give Zachy-boy enough face time. He's a genius and needs to be recognized in his element to truly be appreciated. Bubba got to see his stand up show in Lincoln and said that it was the funniest thing he's ever seen. His humor goes right along with Bubba and I's immaturity and fondness for sarcastic idiots. I'm still going to watch it every week, anticipating a glimmer of humor, but the show is generally very poorly done. Avs and I could do a better job concocting humor and drama than these has-been's and never-will-be's (except for Zach, he's a STAR!) Very disappointing.
